Creating Healthy and Sustainable Cities
EURA 2025 Annual Conference
Bristol (UK), 10-13 June 2025
The EURA 2025 Annual Conference (European Urban Research Association) is an international forum where urban scholars and practitioners come together to advance debate on how cities and city-regions can become healthier and more sustainable in the face of intertwined pressures—climate and ecological emergencies, rapid socio-cultural change, technological and economic restructuring, and widening inequalities.
Framed by the theme “Creating Healthy and Sustainable Cities”, the conference was hosted in Bristol by the Centre for Sustainable Planning and Environments (SPE), University of the West of England, and was organised around nine thematic tracks that connect research on liveability and regeneration with questions of governance, regulation, city futures, inclusion, and low-carbon mobility.
