COABITARE MONDI CHE CAMBIANO<\/h3>\n<h5>XXVI Conference of <em>Societ\u00e0 Italiana degli Urbanisti<\/em> (SIU)<\/h5>\n<h5>Naples, 12-14 June 2024<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"1184\">The 2024 conference of the Italian Society of Urban Planners (SIU) places at its core the new territorial ecologies that\u2014 with increasingly evident urgency\u2014planning is called upon to help define in order to co-inhabit, in a sustainable and equitable way, changing worlds. This is a matter of absolute relevance, and the very use of the plural\u2014applied to both terms, \u201cecologies\u201d and \u201cworlds\u201d\u2014already signals the relational, contextual, political, and environmental character required by the radical ecological positioning invoked here. A topic that has been central for several years in the debate promoted by the Italian community of urban planning scholars, it has gained further momentum following the recent amendments to the Italian Constitution, which added\u2014alongside the protection of the \u201clandscape and the historical and artistic heritage of the Nation\u201d\u2014the protection of \u201cthe environment, biodiversity and ecosystems, also in the interest of future generations\u201d (Art. 9), and established that economic initiative may not be carried out to the detriment of \u201chealth\u201d, and must pursue both \u201csocial\u201d and \u201cenvironmental\u201d purposes (Art. 41).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1469\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The conference is organised by SIU \u2013 Societ\u00e0 Italiana degli Urbanisti and the Department of Architecture (DiARC), University of Naples Federico II, in collaboration with the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design (DADI), University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.societaurbanisti.it\/content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SIU_programma_esteso_DEF.pdf\">Full event programme<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.planum.bedita.net\/atti-della-xxvi-conferenza-nazionale-siu-napoli\">Conference proceedings<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NUOVE ECOLOGIE TERRITORIALI.
